WordPress maintenance Backup, updates and checks

Your WordPress up to date, without breaking the site.

Ceverinu backs up your site, updates plugins, themes and WordPress one at a time, compares each page before and after and rolls back whatever broke. Overnight, on the schedule you choose.

Automatic in Mid-level and Senior. In Intern, through chat.

WordPress maintenance
that checks its own work.

Updating is easy. The hard part is knowing what changed and rolling back when something breaks. That's what Ceverinu does for you.

A plan before any change

Each update with its risk and reason: security fix, major version, not tested with your WordPress.

Full backup first

The whole site, files and database. If the backup doesn't finish, nothing is updated.

Before and after, every page

Screenshots of the homepage and the pages each plugin uses. Sliders and clocks are discounted.

Rolls back on its own

A new error, a page down or a broken layout: it restores the previous version and moves on.

Overnight, on your schedule

Weekly or monthly, on the day and hour of your time zone. By default at 3 a.m., when almost no one visits.

Report in your inbox

What was updated, what was held back and why. It also flags abandoned or removed plugins.

How maintenance works,
step by step.

One update at a time, checked before the next.

  1. Survey

Ceverinu asks your site what has updates: WordPress, plugins and themes.

  2. Backup

A full backup of the site. Without it, nothing is updated.

  3. Snapshot

Screenshots of the homepage and the pages plugins use, taken twice to measure what changes on its own.

  4. One at a time

Updates, then checks the page, the error log and the screenshot. Broken? Rolls back and moves on.

  5. Report

In the app and in your inbox, with before and after of what changed on screen.

Why keep WordPress
up to date.

Security fixes go first. Page builders and stores go last, and the main plugin always before its add-ons.

WordPress auto-updates
or real maintenance?

Auto-updates only

What WordPress does on its own.

  • Updates without weighing each plugin's risk
  • Rolls back only on fatal errors: a broken layout slips through
  • No backup taken right before
  • If a page changes, you hear it from a customer

With Ceverinu

What changes in maintenance.

  • A plan with the risk and reason for each update
  • A full backup before it starts
  • Screenshots before and after every page
  • Rolls back what broke and finishes the rest

Ask the way you'd ask
whoever looks after your site.

Update the plugins and let me know if anything breaks.
I found 7 updates. One is a security fix in Contact Form 7, so it goes first. Elementor 4 is a major version and stays out until you approve it. Shall I back up and start?
Go ahead.
Done: 6 updated, with a backup first. WPForms broke the contact form layout, so I restored the previous version and marked it held back. The before and after is in your inbox.

Frequently asked
questions.

What is WordPress maintenance?

Keeping WordPress, plugins and the theme up to date, with backups and checks, so the site stays secure and working. With Ceverinu: a full backup, one update at a time, screenshots before and after every page and automatic rollback of whatever breaks.

How often should I run maintenance?

Weekly is ideal for most sites. Plugin flaws get attacked fast: according to Patchstack, the median time from disclosure to the first attack is 5 hours. In Ceverinu, the schedule can be weekly or monthly.

Aren't WordPress auto-updates enough?

They help, but they update without weighing risk and only roll back on a fatal error. If an update breaks a page layout, nobody notices. Ceverinu compares each page before and after and rolls back what changed.

What if an update breaks the site?

Ceverinu restores the previous version of that plugin and carries on with the others. If the whole site goes down, the plugin's guardian restores it. Plugins that change the database roll back from the full backup taken at the start.

Does the site go offline during maintenance?

No. Each update takes seconds and runs overnight, at the time you choose, when almost no one visits.

How much does maintenance cost?

In Intern (R$ 97/month), you ask through chat and use credits. In Mid-level (R$ 297/month) and Senior, maintenance is automatic, on schedule, with no credits spent.
